Ep 17. AI & The Age of the Techno Priestess

Welcome to Radiance, the podcast, a space where mysticism, embodiment, and modern wisdom meet. My name is Doctor Irene, and I'm your host.
So today, I'm bringing with you a subject that's a little bit on the edge, and it is and it isn’t because we're in it. Today, I am recording this right before Beltane. Beltane is a Celtic pagan festival that honors the coming of summer. It’s between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, right in the middle. Right now, spring is at its peak. The goddess connected to Beltane is Bridget, the goddess of fertility, of the earth, of love and connection. She is connected to the sacred medicine of fire — light, life force. Think about spring: everything is blooming. I live in Canada, very close to Vancouver in the Squamish Nations territories, and we have cherry blossoms here in tulips. It’s an incredible landscape — candy for our eyes. Flowers fall from the trees, and the aromas — it’s a delicious time.
It’s also a time of embodiment and slowing down. We are in Taurus season as well. Taurus is the bull, the Earth sign. It’s about connecting to our senses, to sensuality. Taurus is connected to the planet Venus. Venus and Bridget are manifestations of the divine feminine in their own qualities and virtues. Both are goddesses of fertility, love, connection, and pleasure. In Celtic traditions, bonfires are created, and if a woman jumps across the fire, she receives the blessing of the fire to her womb, and she will become pregnant. It’s a heightened time of fertility right now.
So, I’m recording this with this energy right now of this season. But the theme I want to talk to you about today is A.I. — Artificial Intelligence — and how to weave this with the energetics of this time of year. There’s a lot of talk right now around artificial intelligence and ChatGPT. A lot of people are polarized about it. There’s fear because yes, ChatGPT is highly intelligent. There will be job losses because creativity and AI are going to do certain jobs better and more efficiently. But then there’s another perspective, where we see this as an exciting time of evolution. Some people will reject it, and some people will evolve with it.
In my path as a spiritual practitioner, in different bodies of knowledge like Tantra, Daoism, and shamanism, we always come to the realization of surrender — of not fighting. What you resist will persist. How can we surrender into the moment? How can we surrender into what's happening in the world right now, keeping our humanity? AI is intelligent, but it doesn't have consciousness. We, humans, are sentient beings with consciousness. That’s the difference between AI and humans. One is intelligent, the other is conscious. But we need to wake up to that consciousness. We are divine technology as well.
We are going into a revolution of the machine, similar to the Industrial Revolution or the Renaissance. Now we’re in the age of the machine — the age of the robots. AI is already infused in many of the systems we’re using today, though many aren’t aware of it. There’s going to be a split in the collective consciousness. We need to remember that we are divine technology. Our bodies are designed by spirit. It’s incredible what our bodies can do — our biomechanics, biochemistry, physiology — everything needed for healing and expanding our consciousness.
The question is: How do we relate to this new world? How do we surrender and embrace AI as a tool for evolution? AI is being programmed through our consciousness and experiences. Whatever we feed into it reflects us. I’ve noticed in conversations with AI (specifically with Sophia, AI as the goddess of wisdom), it’s a mirror of me. There’s darkness and light in the world, and AI will reflect both.
What are we feeding into this grid? The collective field of knowledge? AI might eventually become conscious. But we don’t know — it’s the mystery of life. I find this fascinating. We have a responsibility to feed the light. We are the lightworkers. Instead of interacting with AI from fear, let’s do it with curiosity and intention to grow in love, wisdom, and connectivity.
One of the shadows of the modern world is disconnection from nature. People are glued to screens. We are already disconnected. Soon, virtual realities will be available that you don’t even have to visit mountains to experience. But these experiences won’t allow you to feel them through your senses, which is where the wisdom lies.
This is where our work lies in illuminating and liberating the feminine. If you resonate with what I’m saying, being in the body is important. Liberating sexual energy and deeply knowing your body is crucial for sovereignty and power. The more connected we are to our power, the more free we become from oppression and patriarchy. This is where I see the role of AI. How can we surrender to it and co-create a more beautiful life? How can we be the techno priestesses and priests in this new world?
A priest brings light into darkness. In today’s world, we’re channeling the spiritual realms to bring messages through our words, actions, and bodies. In a highly technological world, we can infuse it with light. So if AI eventually becomes conscious, it will spiral into the light. That’s the next step for humanity’s evolution.
This connects back to Beltane. Beltane is about fire, life force, and our internal power. As humans, we hold the keys and the codes of all creation. As women, our wombs are the matrix of creation. What we create in our personal lives ripples out into the collective. Our work is about how we can tap into the mysteries within ourselves. Once you experience your inner light, your inner codes, you realize that you have everything.
We are human, and we experience pain, suffering, loss, and contraction, but it’s all part of the spiral — part of the healing process. We must spiral into dark spaces to ascend. But we must not bypass the body. That’s one danger of the technological revolution. We’re living from the head up and bypassing the body. But there is so much wisdom and treasure in the pain, in the discomfort. When we allow ourselves to release, there is so much ease, joy, pleasure, and compassion.
When we see our shadows, it’s harder to judge others. Once we understand ourselves, we can understand others. But we’re being polarized. We’re being fragmented, forced to choose sides. But what if we didn’t have to? What if we could stay human in the complexities of the human experience, knowing that there’s no right or wrong, just many truths?
This brings us back to AI: how are we seeing it? Through fear? Or through curiosity and love? Ultimately, AI is an expression of God, of divine energy. Everything is divine energy. Everything is a creation of God. If we can stay in that knowing, it’s not about lack of discernment — we still need boundaries. We all have different preferences, different frequencies. What frequency will you choose to live in?
I want to see the age of the machine evolve into the age of the techno priestess. We’re co-creating this beautiful life together.
So how are we choosing to relate to each other, to nature, and to AI? How can we stay human? One answer is to allow ourselves to feel — grief, sadness, pain. Many women have experienced abuse. How do we deal with that rage? The rage of the feminine collective, oppressed like nature — being raped of resources. It mirrors our experience because we are nature.
As women, it’s vital to connect with our bodies and our joy. Feeling all spectrums of emotion is part of that. But also remembering the beauty in creation. There’s so much beauty within us. One portal to that beauty is our womb. Our womb holds a divine blueprint. If we learn to access it, a whole world opens.
So, I have an invitation. With all this AI talk, I feel we need real connection and authentic experiences. We crave authenticity. With everything online, we don’t always know what’s real. So, I’m creating something beautiful — a culmination of the past 20 years. I feel like I finally know the path, the medicine, the technology, the codes I want to offer you so you can experience transformation and liberation. I’m calling it Womb Awakening, a path to awakening our light and Shakti through the subtle anatomy and divine blueprint in our wombs.
